Registration for Digital Overload is now closed. Also any updated account information from here on out will not be reflected at the event. So I hope you all logged in and made sure your information was up to date, check-in goes as smoothly as possible!
You can still get a Spectator badge at the door for $20, which will allow you to come in an hang out at the event, but not enter/exit with any bags or equipment, and not participate in any tournaments, raffles or giveaways. You still have to be over 16 and need to bring a government issue photo ID, and you will still need to sign the event waiver. If you are under 18, have your parent/guardian sign it and bring it with you to the event.
We're less than a week away from the event, so please take a moment to read over this short list that will help you prepare.
1) Read the Recommended Read page 2) Read the Offical FAQs. 3) Pack your stuff safely. 4) Make sure you bring enough cash to EAT as well as sleep. 5) Hash your DC++ Files. 6) Secure/Scan/Clean your PC (antivirus, spyware removal, etc). Don't bring a virus sick computer to a healthy network. 7) Go over your packing list.... at least 5 times. 8) Go over it again, and realize you almost forgot your power strip, and pack that. 9) Remember that Dicion will choke anyone who daisy chains power strips. 10) Remember it well.... 11) Print out a map of the immediate area surrounding the Conv Center, that way you wont get easily lost. If you can, see if you can get a map of the whole area somewhere. Getting lost in a strange town sucks, and Providence can be strange. 12)SET STEAM/OTHER GAMING APPS TO OFFLINE MODE THERE WILL BE NO INTERNET ACCESS AT THE EVENT. (If I could make that above line flash violently, I would). 13) Bring a good attitude. Bad Attitudes will be checked at the door. 14) Have Fun
The Event Schedule and the Event Floorplan have been posted in the forums.

Believe it or not, Digital Overload 2008 is only 30 days away now.
Registration will remain open for the remainder of the month, with badges at $55. However at the end of the month, registration ends, so this is your last chance to register for the event. And tournaments are filling up fast, so the sooner you register, the better.
If you are planning to pay by snail mail, the cut-off date to have your payments in is the 20th of February. That means that we will not be accepting any snail mail payments after February 20th. Since it can take up to a week for a snail mail payment to arrive, I suggest you get that sent out by the 15th.
If you registered and paid before January 1st, you are eligible for priority check-in at the event. As long as you are in the priority check-in line before doors open at 6pm on Friday the 7th, you will be amongst the first to get your badges and get into the hall to set up. We'll have some more specifics as the event approaches.
Registration for Project: Assassination is now open, located with the tournament sign-ups. Space for this game, as with all of our tournaments, is limited, and only registered, paid attendees can sign up.
We'll be having live music at the event for the first time ever. Saturday night, The Konami Kode is going to rock out with some video game tunes for attendees to enjoy.
We will be raffling off and selling (at a discount) a lot of SUMO chairs at the end of the event on Sunday, so keep some free room when you pack your cars in case you want to take one home!
So tell your friends to hurry up and register. We will be offering spectator passes at the door, however spectators are not permitted to enter/exit the hall with any equipment, or participate in any raffles, contests or tournaments. So get signed up for a full badge to take advantage of all of the cool activities!
