We do sell our Spectator badges at the door (and online this year, if you want to purchase them in advance). These allow you to come into the hall and hang out, and play games (assuming someone invites you to play on their PC or Console), but you just can't enter or exit with any equipment, or participate in any tournaments or prize giveaways.

Finally, everyone that is attending needs to sign the event waiver. To speed up the check-in process, please print this out and sign it ahead of time, and bring it with you. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent/guardian sign this waiver and you must bring it with you or you will not be permitted into the event.

This year, courtesy of ConnectiCon, we will have thirty 27" televisions on hand for the console section that attendees will be able to hook up their console systems to.

In the next week or so we'll be posting a tentative schedule, which will then be followed by tournament sign-ups. Most of these tournament spots fill up online before the event, so make sure you've registered and paid for your badge so you can sign up for tourneys when they go live!

We've announced three more tournaments today! Call of Duty 4, Aliens vs. Predator, and Texas Hold'Em tournaments await you at Digital Overload's 2010 event!

It's time to begin unveiling our official tournaments for Digital Overload 2010! We'll have some old favorites returning as well as some new games making their tournament debut.

Head on over to our tournaments page to check out the first three announced tournaments, and then be sure to check back on Wednesday and Friday for the rest, including a special surprise announcement or two! This will be followed shortly by a tentative schedule of events, and finally tournament sign-ups.

Remember, tournament spaces are limited, and restricted to paid attendees only. Do not wait until Friday evening of the event to try and get into the tournaments you want, they fill up fast!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year! Now that the holidays are behind us, it's time to kick Digital Overload preparation into full gear. With just two short months until our milestone 5th anniversary event, we'll all be gathered together for a weekend of gaming before you know it!

If you haven't secured your accomodations yet, don't forget that the Hilton has special rates for Digital Overload attendees. Additionally, sharing rooms with friends is a great way to cut down travel and lodging costs!

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be announcing all of our official tournaments for the 2010 event, followed by a schedule and sign-ups. Finally, I do need to stress that there are limited tickets available, and a huge chunk of them were sold immediately following our 2009 event. If you haven't secured your ticket yet, consider doing so soon! Registration is online-only, and will close on February 24th. So tell your friends. You don't want to miss out on the biggest and best Digital Overload yet!
